That's why it's good to center on a destiny
Von chenlan, 04:13That's why it's good to center on a destiny that is beyond the grave, and totally out of your power to do anything about. Jesus will sort it all out at the end, when we all stand before His judgment seat and give an account of what we did and did not do.

Jesus tells me that all I have to do to receive salvation from him, is to believe in who he is and what he's done for me. That, I can do...even if I can't always follow all the rules! And I often find, to my surprise, that I don't generally know I've even been changed, until I look back at what I was and compare it to what I am...
And bottom line, we would all would like to Tithe. Tithing represents gratitude for the manifold blessings bestowed upon you. It means doing for the greater public good, it means making a difference. Problem is, it costs too much! Often, come end of the month and we barely squeak by. There are no leftovers, how can we even consider tithing? Are we supposed to come up with the money out of thin air? So the conflict is that we want to tithe, we would love to tithe. We believe in doing good, we believe in kicking back. Its all great and rosy. But we just cannot afford it. How can we lick this problem?
There are several legitimate evidences for Christ's resurrection: the empty tomb; multitudes of eyewitnesses; the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost; miracles performed by the apostles; the silence of critics. Without going into detail about each of these, it is sufficient to say that these provide ample evidence for Christ's resurrection as an historical event. And His resurrection proves that He is the only way to God because He is the only man to win the victory over death.
