Von chenlan, 04:12As I listen to messages and prophecies in our day, I have become painfully certain that the cross is not what is envisioned by destiny-seekers. One feels eerily uncomfortable listening to talk of fulfilling of dreams, seeking our destiny. In fact there is a vague, and sometimes downright obvious, resemblance to the kinds of things the world tells its own. Fleshly, carnal dreams that have me in the center, serving a God who hangs around on the periphery, always looking out for my goals and dreams.

The Christian's New Testament Bible is the New Covenant promised to the Jewish people in Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Isaiah 53. Read the Books of Romans and Hebrews in the Christian New Testament to understand this better. The Christian accepts the Jewish Bible as the inspired Word of God. This is the reason we refer to the Bible as having an Old Testament and a New Testament. We consider both are equally inspired by God. The Jewish people are still God's chosen people. The Christian religion is not a true religion. It stands out as God drawing us into a friendly relationship with Himself. Without His coming to us, we would be hopelessly lost in our vain striving to appease Him.
Now let's go to the Mormons and the Jehovah Witnesses and let's see what the differences are between these religions or beliefs. First the Mormons believe in Joseph Smith who was the leader or the founder of their beliefs. Joseph Smith was born in New York and according to history,? He said that? two Angels were sent to Him by God itself and the Angels? brought Him a Book which had the Eternal Life to spread all over the world, so that was the vision which Joseph Smith had. Now, the Jehovah Witnesses don't believe in the existence of hell and they think that Jesus, the Son of God, will come one more time to the earth to spend 1000 years with them on the earth and that will be the time when the world will find? peace. The Jehovah Witnesses' founder was "Russell" He was from Pennsylvania and He has a lot of followers which go from house to house spreading the Gospel. Now let me tell you the differences between these two religions. First, the Jehovah Witnesses, as I just said before, don't believe in hell, they just believe that Jesus will come to earth bringing peace and justice. But the Mormons believe in the heavenly reality. I mean they say that when you die you will go to heaven and ten women will be waiting for you and you will have a new life in heaven.
